Living in Belle Fourche, SD is a unique experience. With a population of about 5,700 people, it is small enough to have a tight-knit community yet still have all the amenities of a larger town. It is located just off Interstate 90 and has plenty of access to other great towns and cities in both South Dakota and Wyoming. The climate here is generally mild with all four seasons represented. Summers are warm but not too hot, and winters can be cold but usually don’t get too extreme. There are plenty of recreational opportunities for residents including hunting, fishing, hiking, camping and more. The town itself offers something for everyone from delicious locally owned restaurants to antique shops to great parks for picnicking or walking the dogs. All in all, living in Belle Fourche is an amazing experience that will be remembered fondly by its residents for years to come!
